Why The Secret Club?
I got the idea for The Secret Club from a comment my husband made a few months ago. He was telling me about a friends friend who was a golf pro. This golf pro was asked by one of his clients to fly out to Singapore and be his trainer before each game on his golfing holiday. All expenses paid. I said, that sounds like a high class escort.
Then I began to wonder about the people who are members of that golf club who can afford the membership and to fly out a golf pro for a week, what else can they afford to spend their money on? Surely not only golfing pros?
Now a secret, between you and me. I didn’t think to myself, I need to write a story about this. In all honesty, I thought - if something ever happened and I found myself single, I would aim to either get a job or a membership at the presteagous golf course I live near in Melbourne.
So when my husband showed me a video on Instagram a few months later about a lady who writes books and said tp me you should give it a go. This first story I thought of? My local fancy golf club and the debauchery that members get up to behind secret closed doors.
This story just wrote itself. It literally fell out of me. All the spicy, naughty books i’ve read in the past year gave me a helping hand. I have enjoyed reading the most depraved, filthy, pornographic books that I hadn’t known existed a year earlier. I personally enjoy reading short spicy stories so that is what I hoped to achieve with this one. I wanted to bring to life a realistic character who was relatable and loveable. I really wanted the husband to be the ultimate fantasy husband. I wanted him to be into her new jobs and be supportive whilst also unlocking his sexual desires and fantasies as Rosie’s expereinces grew.
Once I wrote this first book I really wanted to see more kinks and experience them together with Rosie and James. I decided to go with the traffic light job board and couldn’t wait for Rosie to apply for more jobs and see where it took her and james relationship in the bedroom.
