I have listened to books my whole life. It started as CD’s and then Audible. I’m talking at least 25 years of listening to books. Hundreds and hundreds of hours whilst walking to work, cleaning, walking the dog, working in my warehouse, driving, on holidays. Okay you get the picture.

So it begs the question. How did I miss an entire genre of books named Erotica when I was practically Audibles best customer?

Imagine my surprise when I stumbled across this genre after reading a romantasy book for the first time. This lead to me joining facebook groups, then new ones were recommended to me via facebook and that is how I came across the genre, via Facebook. I know right? Thank you Facebook.

All this at the ripe old age of 40. And all I could think was: How did I not know?

I’m now 41, have just consumed 20 years worth of fantasy and spicy books in the space of twelve months. I have an eye watering kindle unlimited read list that no one should ever witness, and dark fantasies I don’t know what to do with.

And that’s where I find myself. Starting with the Clarendon Playmates.

A few personal details about me. I have a wonderful husband, two children and a dog, I live in Melbourne Australia. I work for myself during the day and write for you during my spare time. And that’s around home life, kids sport, dog walks, the movies and dancing with my friends after a few glasses of champagne.
