Getting back into writing 2025

After going away at the end of 2024 and most of January 2025, I was unable to get any writing done. Which made it hard to sit down and start writing again. I knew the list of stories I’d like to write to continue the last four Clarendon Playmates Kink Series but getting my head into gear was easier said then done.

You’ll be pleased to know that when I finally forced myself to get on with it, when I started, I couldn’t stop. Whilst it’s just James and Rosie in this one following on from the seven day captivity job, I loved writing about their reconnection and how they coped and worked together to move forwards. I thought it was important to see how Rosie’s job affected them both personally and how they both dealt with it and took care of each other.

Something unexpected was unleashing some more of James’s Kinks. And oh boy, this man is a walking god. Tall, handsome, thoughtful, kinky as hell. As Rosie finds her kinks from her new job, James has no problem finding more of his own at the same time. The funny thing was, Rosie was caught off guard and so was I when I was writing it. One of the kinks that took place was a surprise for Rosie and more so for me. I am pretty sure my subconcious wrote the last one. When I finished I was like, damn thats hot, is that something I could do? I wont answer that, but I think you’ll see my subconcious has for you when you read it.

I have decided to not release the next three novellas that I am currently writing as and when they’re written. Instead, they will go into my next paperback and will be released at the end of June called The Secret Job. I have another three Novellas to go into the final (maybe) book (Name tba). The bottom line is, I love writing about Rosie and the kinks she experiences, I feel like I’m there experiencing them with her and thats gotta be a perk of my job. So whether I continue past 10 novellas and three paperbacks i’m not sure. Time will tell. And right now, I am sure loving the journey.

One last thing before I wrap up this little mind dump. It’s the 16th February as I write this and my February Amazon results are the same now as they were for the full January month. How exciting! Can I double Januaries results? Gee I hope so. Oh and I now have 21 Goodreads Reviews and 14 Amazon reviews. Not bad considering I haven’t told a soul what I’m doing, my husband hasn’t read them and I am not allowed to advertise on Amazon seeing they’re 90% smutt. Self high five to me.

I think I need to buckle myself in, I start the Red Job board this week and you know what the Red kinks are going to be? They’re going to be wild, that’s what they’re going to be.
